Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jim Fitzgerald started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Antony Watson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jerry Wilmott. The goal made the score 1-0. Jerry Wilmott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antony Watson in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of Wokingham City booed when Whitstable United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denzil Dothery didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jim Fitzgerald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo McGrath having to interfere. In the 12th minute, George Trotter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dylon Fairbank could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Jerry Wilmott made a huge save. Shawn McAleer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by George Trotter during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Theo McGrath showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shawn McAleer in the 19th minute of the match. Jim Fitzgerald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Theo McGrath tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dylon Fairbank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerry Wilmott having to interfere. Whitstable United's Antony Watson was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 26th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Antony Watson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jerry Wilmott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antony Watson in the 36th minute of the match. Whitstable United's Theo McGrath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shawn McAleer in the 37th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Whitstable United's goal looked a bit too open when Jim Fitzgerald came free, but Theo McGrath reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Antony Watson made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, Whitstable United's Dylon Fairbank made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jerry Wilmott was left in no man's land by his defense there! 61 minutes in the game, Jim Fitzgerald fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Theo McGrath having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Whitstable United's Ed Breckin got a free kick in the 68th minute. Jim Fitzgerald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo McGrath having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Perry Blowman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ashley York during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Whitstable United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wokingham City:s goal. After 76 played minutes Wokingham City got a freekick which was hit by Ronny Clayton. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antony Watson in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jerry Wilmott prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Shawn McAleer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dylon Fairbank sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Jim Fitzgerald got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jim Fitzgerald in the 93rd minute of play forced Whitstable United's goalkeeper Theo McGrath to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shawn McAleer struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Theo McGrath didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wokingham City.
