When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jason Brooke made a kick off. Alex Styles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antony Watson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dylon Fairbank could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Alex Styles made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Antony Watson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alex Styles. That made the score 1-3 in the 67 minute of play. In the 70th minute, Dylon Fairbank reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alex Styles. The goal made the score 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dylon Fairbank got free with Alex Styles in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Dylon Fairbank managed to get in a good position for a shot. Whitstable United's supporters rose to their feet, but Dylon Fairbank was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Styles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Whitstable United were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Shirley Village's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felix Kerfoot took the corner. Alex Styles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antony Watson in the 89th minute of the match. Antony Watson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Whitstable United played a much better game than Shirley Village and deserved their victory. The Shirley Village players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
