After 9 played minutes Red Warriors F.C got a freekick which was hit by Simon Buckler. After having played for 13 minutes, Simon Buckler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Warriors F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Buckler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Simon Buckler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicky Walters having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Ritchie Forrest got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Larry Moore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ollie Leyburn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ollie Leyburn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Larry Moore's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute Ritchie Forrest shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ollie Leyburn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ritchie Forrest received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ollie Leyburn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Seagulls FC's Leo Tolley got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute Simon Buckler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicky Walters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ollie Leyburn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ritchie Forrest went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Pete Friend kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes, Seagulls FC's Bradley Short shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ollie Leyburn came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Seagulls FC reached it. If Larry Moore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 minutes of play Seagulls FC's Tommy Warner was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Seagulls FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Tommy Warner hit a great ball. The Red Warriors F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Seagulls FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ritchie Forrest was the one to do the kick off. Ritchie Forrest recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Ritchie Forrest managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seagulls FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ritchie Forrest was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ollie Leyburn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicky Walters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Buckler in the 58th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Red Warriors F.C's zone, Tod Alderson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ollie Leyburn came out of the goal and Tod Alderson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ollie Leyburn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ritchie Forrest in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute, Ritchie Forrest made a precise shot to the right of Ollie Leyburn. Red Warriors F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Larry Moore blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ollie Leyburn having to make a save. In the 80th minute, Tod Alderson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Vern Matthews fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Red Warriors F.C's protests and gave Vern Matthews a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute, Tod Alderson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Tod Alderson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seagulls FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tod Alderson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ollie Leyburn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Larry Moore, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Tod Alderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ollie Leyburn having to interfere. Seagulls FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
