Universal Sc's Grant Rogers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Universal Sc from getting a goal against them. When %teams%'s Simon Buckler was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 2-0 just inside the left pole, 18 minutes into the game. Grant Rogers was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. With 23 minutes on the clock, Simeon Foggarty commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Universal Sc fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Grant Rogers, was totally fooled by Red Warriors F.C's Pete Friend, who 26 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ted Mannell kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Luke Dowrick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Pete Friend in the 40th minute really tested Grant Rogers's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Mick Ball could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Grant Rogers made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Grant Rogers came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Warriors F.C's Billie Rowland. But to his dismay, Billie Rowland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. If Simon Buckler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Doug Wishart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Mick Ball left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Warriors F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Ted Mannell kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Universal Sc's goal looked a bit too open when Conan Delamore came free, but Grant Rogers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ollie Leyburn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrew Lynam in the 87th minute of the match. Grant Rogers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mick Ball in the 90th minute of play. But to his dismay, Simon Buckler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Red Warriors F.C fully deserved thier win.
