Bin Bits's Sammy Milburn got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Frankie Challis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frankie Challis hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Telco's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sammy Milburn 15 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 22nd play minute Sammy Milburn came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pat Davison. 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Sammy Milburn kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pat Davison. That made the score 4-0 in the 28 minute of play. When Sacha Hardwick came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Bin Bits fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sacha Hardwick couldn't finish the play. After 36 minutes of play, Bin Bits's Sammy Milburn made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pat Davison was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Sacha Hardwick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The wind increased when Sammy Milburn made the kick off in the second half. Sammy Milburn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sacha Hardwick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pat Davison having to interfere. A collision led to Telco getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Garth Turnbull hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the game, Gav Thorne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Telco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bin Bits the free kick. In the 58th minute, Gav Thorne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Telco's Pat Davison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sammy Milburn in the 64th minute of play. Bin Bits's Sacha Hardwick got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Bin Bits fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Bin Bits's Sammy Milburn looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sacha Hardwick struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Pat Davison didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bin Bits. Frankie Challis was shown his second yellow card after 74 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 83rd minute Sammy Milburn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pat Davison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sacha Hardwick scored 8-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pat Davison, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sammy Milburn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pat Davison having to interfere. Sacha Hardwick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sammy Milburn came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Bin Bits fans jumped to their feet. Bin Bits walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
