Bin Bits's Nicky Beattie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wayne Bensley in the 22nd minute of play. Nicky Beattie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antony Fairfax's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute, Bin Bits's Sammy Milburn dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Antony Fairfax hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Sammy Milburn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Nash having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Sammy Milburn took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dan Nash. Dan Nash dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Dan Nash made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Milburn in the 84th minute of play. Nicky Beattie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antony Fairfax, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Simon Carey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Nash saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
