Thanks to some nice moves Ashley East could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Stuart Guest however easily saved by the left post. Steve Drake could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Stuart Guest made a huge save. AFC Fylde's Stuart Guest played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jay Acton in the 22nd minute of play. Calvin Meade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Carlick having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Amhaja's Stuart Guest threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jay Acton, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nicholas Rush kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Stuart Guest acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 33rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ralph Boyd. In the 37th minute, Denzil Barton reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Stuart Guest. The goal made the score 2-0. Stuart Guest made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Ashley East sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After a rather tough play, AFC Fylde's Shane Mayall got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Calvin Meade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Carlick having to interfere. Phil Goldsmith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Carlick having to interfere. Amhaja's Theo Carlick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Amhaja from getting a goal against them. Amhaja's Theo Carlick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Amhaja from getting a goal against them. When Calvin Meade came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the AFC Fylde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Calvin Meade couldn't finish the play. Mark Payne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Carlick having to interfere. John Clay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 92 minutes into the match, Amhaja's goal looked a bit too open when John Clay came free, but Theo Carlick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. John Clay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Theo Carlick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AFC Fylde's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
