Pat Davison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Gerry Cryer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pat Davison. Gerry Cryer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Wesley Brown received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Pat Davison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gerry Cryer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Telco's Fred Wing got a free kick in the 28th minute. Pat Davison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerry Cryer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wesley Brown succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 36th playminute. Wesley Brown blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pat Davison having to make a save. In the 45th play minute Wesley Brown came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pat Davison. 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerry Cryer to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, FC Cegła na Cegłe's Gerry Cryer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pat Davison narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Cegła na Cegłe's Wesley Brown got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wesley Brown in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pat Davison saved Telco from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Wesley Brown's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pat Davison was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Pat Davison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerry Cryer, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The supporters of FC Cegła na Cegłe booed when Telco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frankie Challis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pat Davison showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerry Cryer in the 88th minute of the match. Wesley Brown received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Pat Davison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Cegła na Cegłe were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Telco for a fine match.
