After 4 played minutes Kuton FC got a freekick which was hit by Leo Howlett. Teddy Hooker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jason Moyles short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Reggie England to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 21 minutes into the match, Kuton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Darryl Kempson came free, but Reggie England reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reggie England took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zack Littlechild, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zack Littlechild fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reggie England having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Drew Lester hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Manchester United's Reggie England threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zack Littlechild, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Kuton FC's Reggie England got control of the ball when Jason Moyle tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 33 minutes of play Kuton FC's Drew Lester was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Drew Lester hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Grant Carragher was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 35th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jason Moyle got free with Reggie England in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zack Littlechild was the one to do the kick off. Nigel Morris's late challenge caught a Manchester United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nigel Morris helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Kuton FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Nigel Morris hit a great ball. When Zack Littlechild came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Manchester United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zack Littlechild couldn't finish the play. If Zack Littlechild had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kuton FC's Reggie England played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jason Moyle in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th match minute, Manchester United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ed Birch to maneuver through the defense. Jason Moyle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Reggie England tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reggie England showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zack Littlechild in the 75th minute of the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Teddy Hooker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kuton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teddy Hooker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jason Moyle struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Reggie England didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manchester United. In the 82nd match minute, Kuton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lawrence Lamb to maneuver through the defense. If Ed Birch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Reggie England didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zack Littlechild went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 89th match minute, Kuton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Al Clayton to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jason Moyle in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reggie England saved Kuton FC from getting behind. In the 94th minute, Zack Littlechild made a precise shot to the right of Reggie England. Kuton FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Manchester United fully deserved thier win.
