Cody Oldham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stan Hind in the 8th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Salmon FC's Steven Fordham sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cody Oldham narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cody Oldham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steven Fordham, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Stan Hind's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cody Oldham read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Steven Fordham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salmon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steven Fordham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stan Hind stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Gunn during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of Stone:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Salmon FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Cody Oldham, was totally fooled by Salmon FC's Louie Barraclough, who 76 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Stan Hind got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cody Oldham made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Steven Fordham sent off a good shot on target. The Salmon FC fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Salmon FC's Stan Hind looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Stan Hind's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cody Oldham was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Cody Oldham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Fordham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stone's goalkeeper Cody Oldham, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match was over Salmon FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Stone throughout the match.
