Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jeffrey Boyce started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeffrey Boyce in the 3rd minute of play forced Oli O FC's goalkeeper Pedro Medlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Markinson took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Medlin. Pedro Medlin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Oli O FC's Pedro Medlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeffrey Boyce in the 11th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeffrey Boyce in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Medlin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jeffrey Boyce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Markinson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Medlin having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Markinson in the 19th minute of play forced Oli O FC's goalkeeper Pedro Medlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 played minutes Dewsbury got a freekick which was hit by Marty Vaughn. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeffrey Boyce in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Medlin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute, Tyler Rider left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dewsbury fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Pete Sheringham came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marty Leighton could save by the left post. Pete Sheringham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 38thth minute of the game Jeffrey Boyce who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oli O FC's Pedro Medlin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Oli O FC defense, Jeffrey Boyce kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Medlin. The Oli O FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Medlin should have stopped the shot. Pedro Medlin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeffrey Boyce in the 46th minute of the match. 49 minutes into the game, Dewsbury's David Markinson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Medlin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pete Sheringham was the one to do the kick off. Pedro Medlin was a little too slow when Jeffrey Boyce got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-5. Oli O FC's Pedro Medlin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Oli O FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Jeffrey Boyce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dewsbury's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeffrey Boyce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Medlin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Medlin made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when David Markinson sent off a good shot on target. If David Markinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jeffrey Boyce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. David Markinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Medlin having to interfere. The Dewsbury fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Dewsbury's Jeffrey Boyce looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Markinson got free with Pedro Medlin in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Medlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeffrey Boyce, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Pedro Medlin came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Dewsbury's David Markinson. But to his dismay, David Markinson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bill Senior during the 99th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 98 minutes into the game, one of Oli O FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The Oli O FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Dewsbury were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
