If Lennie Everard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Louie Munday made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piers Deaconsfield in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to Dracula Boys getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Alastair Barker hit a great ball. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dracula Boys's goalkeeper Louie Munday, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Dracula Boys's zone, Piers Deaconsfield stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Louie Munday came out of the goal and Piers Deaconsfield tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjamin Blacknell hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Jermaine Vaughan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frazer Blower stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nick Coyle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Louie Munday having to make a save. Piers Deaconsfield could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Louie Munday made a huge save. Nick Coyle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nick Coyle in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Louie Munday prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Nick Coyle kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Louie Munday. That made the score 0-3 in the 83 minute of play. Nath Dunn kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the match was over New Marske could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dracula Boys throughout the match.
