Spectators: 7582 (Terracing: 5687, Seating: 1744, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jeffrey Boyce started the match with the kick off. Jeffrey Boyce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Louie Munday tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Louie Munday stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Markinson's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. A collision led to Dracula Boys getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Scott Rusby hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, David Markinson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dewsbury's Marty Leighton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frazer Blower in the 16th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Dracula Boys got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Blacknell. Dracula Boys's Louie Munday played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Markinson in the 19th minute of play. Jeffrey Boyce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Dewsbury's Marek Pinder got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Dracula Boys's Benjamin Blacknell shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 34th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Marty Leighton but with some difficulty. After 36 minutes, Johnathon Bowen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dewsbury and the Dracula Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 36 played minutes Dewsbury got a freekick which was hit by Johnathon Bowen. Marty Leighton was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Benjamin Blacknell. David Markinson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Louie Munday having to make a save. Jeffrey Boyce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If David Markinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeffrey Boyce struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Louie Munday didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dewsbury.

The wind increased when Frazer Blower made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Dracula Boys's goalkeeper Louie Munday, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dracula Boys's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Johnathon Bowen scored to the left of an out of position Louie Munday, making the score, 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Dewsbury's Jeffrey Boyce slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Louie Munday. That made the score 0-2 after 57 minutes of play. In the 60th minute, David Markinson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Louie Munday was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After a rather tough play, Dewsbury's Joseph Scholey got a free kick in the 64th minute. David Markinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Louie Munday tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Dracula Boys's goalkeeper Louie Munday had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Markinson. A collision led to Dracula Boys getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Alastair Barker hit a great ball. David Markinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Louie Munday tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dewsbury's attack was well implemented in the 80th minute, but when Jeffrey Boyce was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Frazer Blower recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marty Leighton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frazer Blower in the 88th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Markinson got free with Louie Munday in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Dracula Boys's Louie Munday got control of the ball when David Markinson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Dracula Boys fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Dewsbury were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
