Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bart Spacey started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Wesley Lawson came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Heathrow Airport's Rufus Crowther. But to his dismay, Rufus Crowther quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Wesley Lawson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 6th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Crispin Buckle. In the 6th match minute, Annscroft FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marlon Dixon to maneuver through the defense. When Annscroft FC's Eddy Nicoll in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Heathrow Airport's goalie prevented a goal. Rufus Crowther sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Heathrow Airport's Bart Spacey ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wesley Lawson. Wesley Lawson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 28th minute Bart Spacey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wesley Lawson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Annscroft FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marlon Dixon to maneuver through the defense. Roy Winterbine hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 36 minutes, Zak Lightfoot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Heathrow Airport and the Annscroft FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 37 played minutes Heathrow Airport got a freekick which was hit by Zak Lightfoot. After having played for 47 minutes, Reggie Whalley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Annscroft FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reggie Whalley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eddy Nicoll stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wesley Lawson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zak Lightfoot in the 51st minute of play. Eddy Nicoll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Will Hibbert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 54 played minutes Annscroft FC got a freekick which was hit by Reuben Downs. Rufus Crowther's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wesley Lawson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Roy Winterbine kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Wesley Lawson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bart Spacey's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. After 60 played minutes Heathrow Airport got a freekick which was hit by Zak Lightfoot. 60 minutes into the match, Heathrow Airport's goal looked a bit too open when Eddy Nicoll came free, but Will Hibbert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Annscroft FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Dom Horseman hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Marlon Dixon took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Will Hibbert to make any attempt to save it. Annscroft FC's Eddy Nicoll got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Rufus Crowther came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Heathrow Airport fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rufus Crowther couldn't finish the play. In the 76th minute, Marlon Dixon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rufus Crowther scored 3-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wesley Lawson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Annscroft FC's Eddy Nicoll slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Will Hibbert. That made the score 3-2 after 80 minutes of play. Reggie Whalley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bart Spacey came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Heathrow Airport fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bart Spacey couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Annscroft FC's Marlon Dixon got a free kick in the 89th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Annscroft FC's zone, Bart Spacey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wesley Lawson came out of the goal and Bart Spacey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Annscroft FC's Eddy Nicoll got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Annscroft FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
