The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Lemon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Gomersall to maneuver through the defense. Eston's Tris Horsey couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lemon. Craig Cooke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Hazledine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Bryan Charlton sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Eston's Craig Cooke didn't even have to move. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jordan Panther in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tom Bridge saved Lemon from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Lemon's Felix Hazledine slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Craig Cooke. That made the score 1-1 after 28 minutes of play. In the 33rd minute Barrie Hicks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Bridge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felix Hazledine to make the kick off. Tris Horsey walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 70th minute, Jacob Colman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lemon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 72nd minute, Eddie Lister hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Craig Cooke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacob Colman, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Jacob Colman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Craig Cooke having to interfere. With a little luck, Lemon's Tom Bridge got control of the ball when Barrie Hicks tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jordan Panther in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tom Bridge saved Lemon from getting behind. The Eston players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Lemon from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
