Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andrew Couch started the match with the kick off. Geoff Deeney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phil Barratt having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Tommy Easton fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Phil Barratt, passed just outside the right post. Trabzonspor's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Felix McGovern scored to the left of an out of position Phil Barratt, making the score, 1-0. Tommy Easton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Phil Barratt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sean Greenfield showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrew Couch, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rosslyn Park's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Victor Ferdinand was slow to take the kick. During this time Trabzonspor's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Rosslyn Park booed when Trabzonspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reggie Darnbrooke didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gary Hooker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Geoff Deeney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phil Barratt having to interfere. Gary Hookers short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Phil Barratt to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Adam McNiven fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rosslyn Park's protests and gave Adam McNiven a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, Rosslyn Park was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam McNiven to maneuver through the defense. Victor Ferdinand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Geoff Deeney managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosslyn Park's supporters rose to their feet, but Geoff Deeney was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Phil Barratt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the match, Rosslyn Park's goal looked a bit too open when Andrew Couch came free, but Sean Greenfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sean Greenfield showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louie Delamore, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Sean Greenfield showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louie Delamore in the 36th minute of the match. Geoff Deeney's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Phil Barratt firmly grabbed it by the left post. Rosslyn Park's Tommy Easton got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trabzonspor's Phil Barratt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Trabzonspor from getting a goal against them. Felix McGovern sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reggie Darnbrooke charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reggie Darnbrooke the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Trabzonspor getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Reggie Darnbrooke hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Rosslyn Park's Tommy Easton slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Phil Barratt. That made the score 2-0 after 47 minutes of play.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tommy Easton made a kick off. Tommy Easton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Phil Barratt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Tommy Easton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Geoff Deeney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Phil Barratt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Phil Barratt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geoff Deeney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trabzonspor's Phil Barratt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rio Gray in the 67th minute of play. Geoff Deeney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phil Barratt having to interfere. Phil Barratt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Easton in the 72nd minute of play. Phil Barratt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tommy Easton went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Phil Barratt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix McGovern, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Trabzonspor's Phil Barratt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Easton in the 91st minute of play. Geoff Deeney struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Phil Barratt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosslyn Park. Tommy Easton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rosslyn Park's Sean Greenfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew Couch in the 98th minute of play. Rosslyn Park walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
