To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute, Kieran Hutchins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Peter Mahon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Askew fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brandon Patterson having to interfere. Peter Mahon struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Brandon Patterson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BandaLysego FC. Daniel Askew sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Daniel Askew's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brandon Patterson was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Kieran Hutchins kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Wallsend's goalkeeper Brandon Patterson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peter Mahon. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Askew to make the kick off. BandaLysego FC's Daniel Askew got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Steven Tubbs fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wallsend's protests and gave Steven Tubbs a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 played minutes Wallsend got a freekick which was hit by Steven Tubbs. In the 61st minute of the match Andre Milburn sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brandon Patterson skillfully saved the ball. If Daniel Askew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Peter Mahon came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the BandaLysego FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Mahon couldn't finish the play. When BandaLysego FC's Daniel Askew in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of BandaLysego FC booed when Wallsend was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basil Golding didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andre Milburn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Wallsend getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Shane Creighton hit a great ball. Brandon Patterson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Smith in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, BandaLysego FC's Peter Mahon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brandon Patterson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Wallsend's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Askew came free, but Brandon Patterson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
