Spectators: 5050 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Brynn Parkin kicked off to start the match. Brynn Parkin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th minute, Brynn Parkin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Brompton FC's Keiran Pollard got a free kick in the 10th minute. Iain Layfield made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Cliff Budden sent off a good shot on target. Iain Layfield showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rio Lambley, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Ron Millman hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Vinnie Boulton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benji Swallow in the 28th minute of play forced Brompton FC's goalkeeper Iain Layfield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Cliff Budden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Benji Swallow cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Iain Layfield was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brynn Parkin in the 33rd minute of play forced Brompton FC's goalkeeper Iain Layfield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benji Swallow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Brompton FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Rio Lambley scored to the left of an out of position Iain Layfield, making the score, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alf Fletcher stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brompton FC's Iain Layfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cliff Budden in the 51st minute of play. 52 minutes into the match, Brompton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rio Lambley came free, but Iain Layfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Cuza-Voda's Blair Blewitt was substituted for Brynn Parkin. In the 55th match minute, Brompton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kev Connell to maneuver through the defense. After 57 minutes Brompton FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cliff Budden who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on FC Cuza-Voda's corner Cliff Budden fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Iain Layfield quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the FC Cuza-Voda defense, Vinnie Blythe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andy Colton. The FC Cuza-Voda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andy Colton should have stopped the shot. Cliff Budden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brompton FC's Iain Layfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blair Blewitt in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blair Blewitt in the 69th minute of play forced Brompton FC's goalkeeper Iain Layfield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iain Layfield stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rio Lambley's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Iain Layfield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blair Blewitt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Cliff Budden put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Iain Layfield. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Odell in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iain Layfield saved Brompton FC from getting behind. Iain Layfield stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Blair Blewitt's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute, Benji Swallow left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Cuza-Voda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. 88 minutes into the game, Blair Blewitt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Iain Layfield was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the FC Cuza-Voda players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
