Walter Endean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeff Dibb in the 3rd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Halesworth's goal looked a bit too open when Jeff Dibb came free, but Walter Endean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, Alex Lister hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the game, Mike Garforth cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Walter Endean was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Walter Endean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeff Dibb in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Inter Academy's Mike Garforth nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walter Endean made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Jeff Dibb scored 0-4 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walter Endean, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 31 minutes into the game, Inter Academy's Jeff Dibb nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walter Endean made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Walter Endean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mike Garforth in the 40th minute of play. Walter Endean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeff Dibb, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Jonathan Fitter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Walter Endean made a huge save. In the 56th minute Jeff Dibb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Endean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walter Endean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeff Dibb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walter Endean made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kristopher Webster in the 65th minute. Pierce Glasby hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. A sloppy throw-in by Christian Knott in the 68th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Halesworth's Rex Delamore. Matt Denham charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matt Denham the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Walter Endean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Fitter in the 74th minute of play. With a little luck, Halesworth's Walter Endean got control of the ball when Mike Garforth tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Jonathan Fitter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute of the match, Jeff Dibb tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Walter Endean saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mike Garforth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Walter Endean made a huge save. If Kristopher Webster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeff Dibb received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Walter Endean came out and tried to block the shot, but Jeff Dibb slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 88th minute. Christian Knott kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Halesworth's Alex Lister got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Jeff Dibb was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 94th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Inter Academy played a much better game than Halesworth and deserved their victory. The Halesworth players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
