The audience thought a goal was coming when Buster Turner got free with Daryl Colman in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daryl Colman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joey Thurman, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Highbury and Islington AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Wardell came free, but Donny Flintoff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball had pretty good speed, but Donny Flintoff firmly grabbed it by the left post. 61 minutes into the game, Joey Thurman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Daryl Colman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daryl Colman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joey Thurman went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Brandon Barton's late challenge caught a Green Street Elite FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Highbury and Islington AFC fully deserved thier win.
