Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mike Garforth kicked off to start the match. Dylon Daly kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After having played for 5 minutes, Adam Darling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Highbury and Islington AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adam Darling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Highbury and Islington AFC's zone, Mike Garforth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donny Flintoff came out of the goal and Mike Garforth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Donny Flintoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mike Garforth in the 16th minute of the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Kristopher Webster managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kristopher Webster was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Buster Turner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mike Garforth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donny Flintoff having to interfere. Silvester Furlong made an important save on a dangerous shot by Buster Turner in the 25th minute. When Christian Knott fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inter Academy's protests and gave Christian Knott a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, Inter Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Knott to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Highbury and Islington AFC defense, Mike Garforth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donny Flintoff. The Highbury and Islington AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donny Flintoff should have stopped the shot. If Joey Thurman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Buster Turner took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvester Furlong. Silvester Furlong dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Jeff Dibb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inter Academy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 48th minute, when Samuel Blacknell scored to the left of an out of position Silvester Furlong, making the score, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Silvester Furlong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Blacknell, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. With his leg Donny Flintoff managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Inter Academy's Mike Garforth fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 68th minute, Samuel Blacknell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mike Garforth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Donny Flintoff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mike Garforth came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Donny Flintoff could save by the left post. If Joey Thurman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81stth minute of the game Joey Thurman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inter Academy's Silvester Furlong was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joey Thurman kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Joey Thurman was in a good position and ended up with the ball after Highbury and Islington AFC's free kick, but he didn't get a good hit on the ball and blazed it high and to the right of the goal. After 88 minutes, Kristopher Webster mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inter Academy and the Highbury and Islington AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th match minute, Inter Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristopher Webster to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Fitter during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonathan Fitter kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Highbury and Islington AFC had won after a very even match.
