Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC WALSALL's Wesley Moore started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in FC WALSALL's zone, Tosh Shields stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brynn Wright came out of the goal and Tosh Shields tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Marmarisspor defense, Wesley Moore kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Quentin Renner. The Marmarisspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quentin Renner should have stopped the shot. If Tosh Shields had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brynn Wright made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Humphreys in the 11th minute of play. Tosh Shields recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Marmarisspor's Brynn Wright threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Peter Humphreys, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Quentin Barltrop kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. FC WALSALL's Brynn Wright proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save FC WALSALL from getting a goal against them. Robbie Bayford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brynn Wright having to interfere. In the 42ndth minute of the game Peter Humphreys who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC WALSALL's Brynn Wright was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Tosh Shields kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Brynn Wright. That made the score 2-1 in the 46 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peter Humphreys to strike the kick off in the second half. Brynn Wright tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Peter Humphreys managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marmarisspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Humphreys was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brynn Wright breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brynn Wright made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Humphreys in the 70th minute of play. Brynn Wright showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Humphreys, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Peter Humphreys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brynn Wright having to interfere. The supporters of FC WALSALL booed when Marmarisspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joey Rockett didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peter Humphreys blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brynn Wright having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Humphreys in the 91st minute of play forced FC WALSALL's goalkeeper Brynn Wright to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tosh Shields fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brynn Wright having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Tosh Shields's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brynn Wright was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
