After a defensive mix-up in Famouz Stars's zone, Austen Walker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dom Little came out of the goal and Austen Walker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Austen Walker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Dom Little tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dom Little showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John-Paul Rawlings in the 9th minute of the match. If Gareth Langdon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Gareth Langdon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 30 minutes, Bryan Dodd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Famouz Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bryan Dodd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. John-Paul Rawlings received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Dom Little tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Austen Walker got free with Dom Little in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute, Bryan Dodd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kirk Mansell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryan Dodd in the 41st minute of the match. Ken Hodgson hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute of the match Hayden Holloway shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kirk Mansell showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and John-Paul Rawlings made a kick off. If Bryan Dodd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eric Sutton kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Taverham FC's Kirk Mansell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryan Dodd in the 64th minute of play. Kirk Mansell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryan Dodd in the 69th minute of play. Bryan Dodd blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kirk Mansell having to make a save. 75 minutes into the match, Famouz Stars's goal looked a bit too open when John-Paul Rawlings came free, but Dom Little reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bryan Dodds short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Kirk Mansell to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 78 minutes into the game, Bryan Dodd cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kirk Mansell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Taverham FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ken Hodgson hit a great ball. A hard shot by Hayden Holloway from long distance, 84 minutes into the match, got Kirk Mansell's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Kirk Mansell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryan Dodd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bryan Dodd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taverham FC's Kirk Mansell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Taverham FC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Bryan Dodd's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kirk Mansell was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. When the final whistle sounded Famouz Stars left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Taverham FC.
