Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rupert Kirkpatrick hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute Trevor Brookman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dale Warner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dale Warner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trevor Brookman in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to Jórvik FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ronan Bower hit a great ball. If Trevor Brookman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trevor Brookman got in the 19th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Dale Warner handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Jonny McGrath received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Dean Crouch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walton Warriors F.C's Dean Crouch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danny Gilchrist in the 28th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Trevor Brookman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Walton Warriors F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Trevor Brookman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dale Warner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Walton Warriors F.C's Rod Jefferies got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dale Warner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trevor Brookman in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, Jórvik FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danny Gilchrist to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Trevor Brookman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dale Warner. The goal made the score 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonny McGrath stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Jórvik FC booed when Walton Warriors F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bob Peake didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute, Callum Winterburn sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Walton Warriors F.C's Dean Crouch didn't even have to move. 55 minutes into the match, Jórvik FC's Danny Gilchrist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dean Crouch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Trevor Brookman struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Dale Warner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Walton Warriors F.C. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonny McGrath in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dean Crouch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 69 minutes into the match, Trevor Brookman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dale Warner. Jórvik FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Trevor Brookman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Walton Warriors F.C's Rod Jefferies got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Jórvik FC's zone, Rod Jefferies stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dale Warner came out of the goal and Rod Jefferies tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute, Bradley Farrow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Trevor Brookman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dale Warner having to interfere. Rod Jefferies struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Dale Warner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Walton Warriors F.C.
