Spectators: 6631 (Terracing: 5621, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 10) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jonny McGrath kicked off to start the match. Robbie Trotter might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dale Warner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robbie Trotter ran back to his position shaking his head. After recieving a nice pass, Jórvik FC's Callum Winterburn tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Rupert Kirkpatrick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Rats's Travis Bullard got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute, Robbie Trotter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rats fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 16th minute, Jonny McGrath fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eric Whieldon, passed just outside the right post. 19 minutes into the match, Jórvik FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Middleton came free, but Dale Warner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 played minutes Rats got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Wiseman. Jonny McGrath recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dale Warner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robbie Trotter, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Chris Middleton sped through Jórvik FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dale Warner. Callum Attwood charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Callum Attwood the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th match minute, Rats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Callum Attwood to maneuver through the defense. Dale Warner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robbie Trotter in the 37th minute of play. After some careless play in the Jórvik FC defense, Chris Middleton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dale Warner. The Jórvik FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dale Warner should have stopped the shot. Rats's Chris Middleton got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chris Middleton to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Chris Middleton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rats's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chris Middleton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dale Warner made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Robbie Trotter sent off a good shot on target. Dale Warner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Middleton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robbie Trotter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Dale Warner made a huge save. Dale Warner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robbie Trotter in the 71st minute. After 71 played minutes Jórvik FC got a freekick which was hit by Rupert Kirkpatrick. Robbie Trotter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Chris Middleton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robbie Trotter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Dale Warner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jórvik FC's Dale Warner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Jórvik FC from getting a goal against them. When Chris Middleton came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Rats fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Middleton couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Chris Middleton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rats's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Middleton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dale Warner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute, Robbie Trotter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rats fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 96th minute of the match, Chris Middleton tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dale Warner saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the final whistle sounded Rats left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jórvik FC.
