Dean Crouch came out of the goal and Jonny McGrath tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Danny Gilchrist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dale Warner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trevor Brookman in the 9th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Danny Gilchrist could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Dean Crouch however easily saved by the left post. Dale Warner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Trevor Brookman went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Dale Warner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trevor Brookman in the 35th minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Ronan Bower was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jórvik FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Walton Warriors F.C the free kick. A collision led to Jórvik FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ronan Bower hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Jórvik FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rod Jefferies came free, but Dale Warner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rod Jefferies came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Walton Warriors F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rod Jefferies couldn't finish the play. If Rod Jefferies had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jonny McGrath fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jórvik FC's protests and gave Jonny McGrath a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Jórvik FC's Jonny McGrath got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half Walton Warriors F.C were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jonny McGrath made the kick off in the second half. Dale Warner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trevor Brookman, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 67th minute, Walton Warriors F.C's Trevor Brookman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dale Warner. Dale Warner yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Rod Jefferies's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Dale Warner skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 72 minutes into the match, Jórvik FC's goalkeeper Dale Warner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rod Jefferies. 73 minutes into the match, Jórvik FC's goal looked a bit too open when Trevor Brookman came free, but Dale Warner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonny McGrath sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 77 played minutes Walton Warriors F.C got a freekick which was hit by Bob Peake. 79 minutes into the game, Jonny McGrath cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Dean Crouch was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 85th minute, Rod Jefferies made a precise shot to the right of Dale Warner. Jórvik FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. After a rather tough play, Jórvik FC's Ronan Bower got a free kick in the 88th minute. Bob Peake kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match.
