Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rowan Winfield kicked off to start the match. Stevie Holt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Pallister in the 11th minute of the match. When Rob Boxall fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored King Of The North's protests and gave Rob Boxall a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes King Of The North got a freekick which was hit by Rob Boxall. In the 19th minute of the match Freddy Fieldwick sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stevie Holt skillfully saved the ball. Wesley Sutcliffe charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wesley Sutcliffe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes King Of The North got a freekick which was hit by Wesley Sutcliffe. In the 25th minute, Nicky Nethercott got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Tartiflet FC's goalkeeper Chris Wall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicky Nethercott. Nicky Nethercott could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Chris Wall made a huge save. When Rowan Winfield came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the King Of The North fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rowan Winfield couldn't finish the play. Nicky Nethercott recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gordon Merris during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of King Of The North booed when Tartiflet FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gordon Merris didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nicky Nethercott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Sam Pallister made the kick off in the second half. Jeremy Lynam hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Chris Wall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rowan Winfield's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. If Nicky Nethercott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicky Nethercott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chris Wall having to interfere. Rowan Winfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chris Wall having to interfere. Nicky Nethercott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Chris Wall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Tartiflet FC's Gordon Merris sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stevie Holt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85th minute Sam Pallister shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stevie Holt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tartiflet FC's goalkeeper Chris Wall, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 93 minutes into the game, Rowan Winfield cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Chris Wall was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. King Of The North were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
