Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kelvin Bridgeworth kicked off to start the match. Damian Holt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gareth Blake read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 13th minute of the match Buster Tomkin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dom Craddock showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Gary Louis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doncaster City FC's Gary Louis got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gareth Blake showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Holt in the 20th minute of the match. After having played for 21 minutes, Gary Louis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Doncaster City FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gary Louis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Gary Louis came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Doncaster City FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gary Louis couldn't finish the play. Kelvin Bridgeworth took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dom Craddock. Dom Craddock dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Miles Everard kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Jo Rayner took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dom Craddock. Brigden's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when William Sherwood stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Gary Louis put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dom Craddock. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kelvin Bridgeworth in the 62nd minute of play forced Brigden's goalkeeper Dom Craddock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd match minute, Brigden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grant Blake to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Brigden getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. William Sherwood hit a great ball. Gary Louis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dom Craddock having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kelvin Bridgeworth in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dom Craddock saved Brigden from getting behind. Grant Blake hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Dom Craddock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gary Louis, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Brigden's Dom Craddock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kelvin Bridgeworth in the 78th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Kelvin Bridgeworth ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dom Craddock was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Dom Craddock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gary Louis in the 85th minute of play. Gary Louis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
