Calum Markinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vance Forbes, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Fordingbridge FC's zone, Zack Hales stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Calum Markinson came out of the goal and Zack Hales tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kieran Sharples received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Calum Markinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stan Shaw recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 21 played minutes, Paralympique London's Rio Blake shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Calum Markinson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Paralympique London reached it. In the 26th minute Zack Hales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calum Markinson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vance Forbes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calum Markinson having to interfere. If Zack Hales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Fordingbridge FC's Gav Cornish slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jeff Groves. That made the score 1-0 after 34 minutes of play. Nath Butcher charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nath Butcher the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 38 minutes into the game, one of Paralympique London:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Paralympique London:s Jeff Groves showed great skill when he stopped Gary Frampton:s penalty. Gary Frampton did an outstanding performance 40 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 2-0 to the right of an irritated Jeff Groves in the goal. After having played for 43 minutes, Basil Major managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paralympique London's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basil Major was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the game, Paralympique London's Zack Hales nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Calum Markinson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gav Cornish was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zack Hales got free with Calum Markinson in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute, Zack Hales got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 58 played minutes Fordingbridge FC got a freekick which was hit by Kenny Gregory. 60 minutes into the game, Zack Hales cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Calum Markinson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Gav Cornish managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fordingbridge FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gav Cornish was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeff Groves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Basil Major sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vance Forbes got free with Calum Markinson in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paralympique London's Vance Forbes got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Paralympique London's Basil Major got a free kick in the 77th minute. Fordingbridge FC's Calum Markinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stan Shaw in the 80th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Paralympique London's Zack Hales slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Calum Markinson. That made the score 2-3 after 82 minutes of play. Vance Forbes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Calum Markinson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zack Hales in the 87th minute. Basil Major fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calum Markinson having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Kieran Sharples was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paralympique London's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fordingbridge FC the free kick. In the 91st minute, Kieran Sharples hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fordingbridge FC's Calum Markinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zack Hales in the 96th minute of play. After 98 played minutes, Paralympique London's Rio Blake shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Calum Markinson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Paralympique London reached it. When the match was over Paralympique London could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fordingbridge FC throughout the match.
