Spectators: 5007 (Terracing: 4004, Seating: 1003, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Brynn Mimms kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes Barnet AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Shilton. 6 minutes into the game, Neil Hudson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC KUN AJAYI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barnet AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC KUN AJAYI's Neil Hudson got a free kick in the 6th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC KUN AJAYI's zone, Peter Brearley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lewis Pollard came out of the goal and Peter Brearley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 16 minutes, Brynn Mimms managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barnet AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brynn Mimms was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, FC KUN AJAYI's Lewis Pollard got control of the ball when Peter Brearley tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ben Manson hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ron Everett in the 23rd minute of play forced Barnet AFC's goalkeeper Frazer Bloom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Casey Stockdale suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Philip Oddy's late challenge caught a Barnet AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Philip Oddy helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC KUN AJAYI getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Philip Oddy hit a great ball. Ron Everett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Frazer Bloom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC KUN AJAYI's Reuben Draper got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 40 minutes, Ron Everett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC KUN AJAYI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ron Everett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ron Everett stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcus Rockett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simon Bailey kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Ron Everett took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Frazer Bloom to make any attempt to save it. Brynn Mimms kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ron Everett in the 74th minute of play forced Barnet AFC's goalkeeper Frazer Bloom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Reuben Draper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frazer Bloom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ron Everett, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Reuben Draper could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Frazer Bloom made a huge save. In the 79th minute Ron Everett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frazer Bloom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Ron Everett made a precise shot to the right of Frazer Bloom. Barnet AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Ron Everett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Barnet AFC's Simon Bailey got a free kick in the 91st minute. Graeme Walters was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 92nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Reuben Draper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Frazer Bloom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC KUN AJAYI walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
