Spectators: 7415 (Terracing: 5637, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 50) After some careless play in the FC Targowa defense, Graeme Beresford kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lance Lowndes. The FC Targowa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lance Lowndes should have stopped the shot. Tod Wilmott stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodney Clist's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Owen Addison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Graeme Beresford got free with Lance Lowndes in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ash Nightingale hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Lance Lowndes made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Graeme Beresford sent off a good shot on target. Graeme Beresford might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lance Lowndes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Graeme Beresford ran back to his position shaking his head. If Owen Addison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Owen Addison recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Owen Addison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lance Lowndes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Owen Addison in the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Graeme Beresford blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lance Lowndes having to make a save. If John Paul Mitchell-King had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John Paul Mitchell-King was extremely unlucky when he, in the 63rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Tod Wilmott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Paul Mitchell-King in the 65th minute of play. John Paul Mitchell-King sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nial Cheeseman during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Zanzibar FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Nial Cheeseman hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, FC Targowa's Tommy Reeve tried to score from far away in the 77th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute Owen Addison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lance Lowndes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC Targowa booed when Zanzibar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graeme Beresford didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Owen Addison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, one of FC Targowa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Targowa. Rob Hudson placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
