Spectators: 7593 (Terracing: 5696, Seating: 1746, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Greg Windsor kicked off to start the match. Glen Rawson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Frank Carpenter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rufus Button kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Frank Carpenter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christopher Bourne, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Glen Rawson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Glen Rawson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Carpenter having to interfere. A collision led to Swansea united getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Dave Gardner hit a great ball. Rob Homes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jude Bowen, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lance Crawshaw in the 33rd minute of play forced Swansea united's goalkeeper Frank Carpenter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sean Reid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Carpenter having to interfere. Glen Rawsons short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Frank Carpenter to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rob Homes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jude Bowen in the 40th minute of play. Rob Homes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Greg Windsor, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Rob Homes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Greg Windsor in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Glen Rawson to strike the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Rob Homes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 55th minute Greg Windsor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rob Homes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Carpenter came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by LKS Strumien's Scott Elding. But to his dismay, Scott Elding quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Glen Rawson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dave Gardner's late challenge caught a LKS Strumien's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dave Gardner helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th match minute, Swansea united was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dave Gardner to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the game, Swansea united's Dale Case nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rob Homes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 74 minutes, Lance Crawshaw mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LKS Strumien and the Swansea united players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th match minute, LKS Strumien was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lance Crawshaw to maneuver through the defense. When Alec Tate fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Swansea united's protests and gave Alec Tate a yellow card for diving instead.
