Carl Bramble recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 6 minutes, Jacob Elding mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Woolly FC and the FC Targowa players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th match minute, Woolly FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacob Elding to maneuver through the defense. Carl Bramble sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Carl Bramble's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lance Lowndes was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Lance Lowndes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Gillow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Woolly FC's goal looked a bit too open when John Paul Mitchell-King came free, but Joe Boyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Targowa's zone, Sam Talbot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lance Lowndes came out of the goal and Sam Talbot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Carl Bramble's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lance Lowndes was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. 48 minutes into the match, Rodney Clist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joe Boyd. Woolly FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodney Clist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carl Bramble to make the kick off. Perry Bonham kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Perry Bonham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Woolly FC's Joe Boyd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Paul Mitchell-King in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Woolly FC's goal looked a bit too open when John Paul Mitchell-King came free, but Joe Boyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 71 minutes into the game, when Terry Pearce put in a rough tackle. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Woolly FC! An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodney Clist in the 76th minute of play forced Woolly FC's goalkeeper Joe Boyd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rich Cuss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Lance Lowndes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Carl Bramble ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lance Lowndes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Carl Bramble sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacob Elding recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Woolly FC's Jacob Elding got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Perry Bonham fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 96th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Carl Bramble struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Lance Lowndes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Woolly FC. Joe Boyd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodney Clist in the 100th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Woolly FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
