Spectators: 6729 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zackary Gray started the match with the kick off. Marek Bradbury sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrian Fletcher's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodd Auty read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Rodd Auty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Fletcher in the 14th minute of play. Rodd Auty came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Baker's Adrian Fletcher. But to his dismay, Adrian Fletcher quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Lynton's zone, Adrian Fletcher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodd Auty came out of the goal and Adrian Fletcher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodd Auty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Fletcher in the 25th minute of play. After having played for 32 minutes, Gez Robson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Baker's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gez Robson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marek Bradbury during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of AFC Baker booed when Lynton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marek Bradbury didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34thth minute of the game Adrian Fletcher who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lynton's Rodd Auty was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Zackary Gray was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lynton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC Baker the free kick. In the 35th match minute, Lynton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zackary Gray to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 38 minutes, Zackary Gray managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lynton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zackary Gray was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodd Auty showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Fletcher, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Rodd Auty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Fletcher in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, AFC Baker's Adrian Fletcher ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rodd Auty. Rodd Auty yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Jonny Noble hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Jake Gray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonny Noble, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Rodd Auty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Fletcher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zackary Gray was shown his second yellow card after 64 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Lynton getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Zackary Gray hit a great ball. Gez Robson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodd Auty having to interfere. Rodd Auty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gez Robson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute Adrian Fletcher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodd Auty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonny Noble got free with Jake Gray in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonny Noble could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Jake Gray made a huge save. The supporters of Lynton booed when AFC Baker was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnnie Logan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodd Auty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gez Robson in the 91st minute of the match. The AFC Baker support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
