Jimmy King started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Real Nickos's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathon Kingston came free, but Ivor Clement reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathon Kingston in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivor Clement saved Real Nickos from getting behind. Jimmy King fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toby Blewitt having to interfere. In the 8th match minute, Stratford-upon-Avon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conan Louis to maneuver through the defense. Phil Alsop received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Toby Blewitt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darren Atkinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ivor Clement tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pete Lucas kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Trey Kalischer, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dean Proctor got free with Toby Blewitt in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stratford-upon-Avon FC's Conan Louis got his second yellow card of the match in the 35th minute. The referee ordered Conan Louis off the ground. The supporters of Real Nickos booed when Stratford-upon-Avon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conan Louis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Phil Alsop scored 1-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Toby Blewitt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 42 minutes of play, Stratford-upon-Avon FC's Ben Doona made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivor Clement was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathon Kingston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ivor Clement tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Ben Doona made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Ben Doona made a precise shot to the right of Ivor Clement. Real Nickos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Stratford-upon-Avon FC's zone, Jimmy King stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toby Blewitt came out of the goal and Jimmy King tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rufus Cartwright fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivor Clement having to interfere. Phil Alsop sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ben Doona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ben Doona got free with Ivor Clement in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ivor Clement made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Jonathon Kingston sent off a good shot on target. Ben Doona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivor Clement read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ben Doona got free with Ivor Clement in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ben Doona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ivor Clement tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vince Webster's late challenge caught a Stratford-upon-Avon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vince Webster helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Real Nickos getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Vince Webster hit a great ball. Ivor Clement took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavin Pell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Stratford-upon-Avon FC's Jonathon Kingston got a free kick in the 96th minute. If Phil Alsop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
