FC Kelsier's Andre Jenkinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathon Kingston in the 4th minute of play. Conal Brookman charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Conal Brookman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Stratford-upon-Avon FC booed when FC Kelsier was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conal Brookman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ben Doona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Andre Jenkinson made a huge save. With his leg Andre Jenkinson managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Stratford-upon-Avon FC's Ben Doona fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 18 played minutes Stratford-upon-Avon FC got a freekick which was hit by Trey Kalischer. If Wayne Crichton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the game, Gavin Pell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stratford-upon-Avon FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Kelsier the free kick. After 20 played minutes Stratford-upon-Avon FC got a freekick which was hit by Gavin Pell. If Jonathon Kingston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darren Atkinson charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Toby Blewitt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wayne Crichton went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ben Doona got free with Andre Jenkinson in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ben Doona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Andre Jenkinson made a huge save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonathon Kingston to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Micheal Daly hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andre Jenkinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trey Kalischer in the 53rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marlon Crayon during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Kelsier getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Marlon Crayon hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FC Kelsier's Owen Hibbert got a free kick in the 60th minute. Andre Jenkinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathon Kingston in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Wayne Crichton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Kelsier's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stratford-upon-Avon FC the free kick. Jonathon Kingston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andre Jenkinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathon Kingston, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The Stratford-upon-Avon FC fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Stratford-upon-Avon FC's Ben Doona looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ben Doona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Andre Jenkinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ben Doona in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andre Jenkinson saved FC Kelsier from getting behind. With a little luck, Stratford-upon-Avon FC's Toby Blewitt got control of the ball when Wayne Crichton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Toby Blewitt made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Wayne Crichton sent off a good shot on target. Andre Jenkinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben Doona in the 85th minute of play. Andre Jenkinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavin Pell in the 87th minute of play. In the 87th minute Gavin Pell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andre Jenkinson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 played minutes FC Kelsier got a freekick which was hit by Owen Hibbert. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Stratford-upon-Avon FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Kelsier had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
