Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Nottingham Drillerz's Rueben Mawson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, UMA-J37's goal looked a bit too open when Rueben Mawson came free, but Rex Bilham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Peter Neville left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nottingham Drillerz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Nottingham Drillerz's Zack Gough proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Nottingham Drillerz from getting a goal against them. After having played for 12 minutes, Peter Neville managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nottingham Drillerz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Neville was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute, Joe Froggatt made a precise shot to the right of Rex Bilham. UMA-J37's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 22 minutes into the match, UMA-J37's goal looked a bit too open when Rueben Mawson came free, but Rex Bilham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rex Bilham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Froggatt in the 25th minute of play. Rueben Mawson's late challenge caught a UMA-J37's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rueben Mawson helped the player get up and apologised. Rueben Mawson kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Joe Froggatt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rex Bilham having to make a save. Zack Gough made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamal Cousins in the 44th minute of play. Jamal Cousins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Zack Gough tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jamal Cousins stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. UMA-J37's Rex Bilham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Neville in the 55th minute of play. Rex Bilham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rueben Mawson, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Peter Neville fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rex Bilham having to interfere. Rueben Mawson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Rex Bilham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zack Gough showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jamal Cousins in the 77th minute of the match. Johnathan Rose hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute of the match Dominik Vaughan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zack Gough showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Peter Neville came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Nottingham Drillerz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Neville couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Nottingham Drillerz's Kasey Venables got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute, a hard, long distance shot from Dominik Vaughan hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. The supporters of UMA-J37 booed when Nottingham Drillerz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kasey Venables didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nottingham Drillerz played a much better game than UMA-J37 and deserved their victory. The UMA-J37 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
