Gordon Palmer ran back to his position shaking his head. Tom Boothroyd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gordon Palmer in the 31st minute of play. Gordon Palmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Boothroyd having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clive Winehouse in the 35th minute of play forced Bowburn's goalkeeper Tom Boothroyd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd match minute, Bowburn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Mansfield to maneuver through the defense. Gordon Palmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Boothroyd having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Tom Boothroyd was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gordon Palmer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 86 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dove Holes United's Max Castledine got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Bowburn's goalkeeper Tom Boothroyd had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clive Winehouse.
