After 13 played minutes, Tottenham Hotspur's John Paul Lister shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dominik Mortlock came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tottenham Hotspur reached it. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Phil McGrath was the one to do the kick off. Devon Morgan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Giles Hutchinson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 52 minute of play.
