The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wally Cadwallader struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Mitch Seal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wykeham Wanderers. Kristopher Eubank recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kristopher Eubank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mitch Seal having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wally Cadwallader in the 9th minute of play forced SuntFrumoasa's goalkeeper Mitch Seal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lance Brindley got free with James Ansell in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andrew Simpson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. James Ansell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lance Brindley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but James Ansell made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Lance Brindley managed to get in a good position for a shot. SuntFrumoasa's supporters rose to their feet, but Lance Brindley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. James Ansell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andrew Simpson struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. James Ansell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SuntFrumoasa. Lance Brindley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. James Ansell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrew Simpson in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck James Ansell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

If Andrew Simpson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Andrew Simpson made a precise shot to the right of James Ansell. Wykeham Wanderers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 59 minutes into the match, Wykeham Wanderers's goal looked a bit too open when Andrew Simpson came free, but James Ansell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SuntFrumoasa's Lance Brindley got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. James Ansell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lance Brindley in the 70th minute of play. Andrew Simpson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. James Ansell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wykeham Wanderers's James Ansell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Hislop in the 73rd minute of play. James Ansell came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by SuntFrumoasa's Pedro Sears. But to his dismay, Pedro Sears quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 82nd minute Lance Brindley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but James Ansell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wykeham Wanderers's goalkeeper James Ansell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. James Ansell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrew Simpson in the 91st minute of play. Lance Brindley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. James Ansell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. James Ansell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrew Simpson in the 95th minute of the match. When Wally Cadwallader fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wykeham Wanderers's protests and gave Wally Cadwallader a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute, Wally Cadwallader hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 98th minute, one of Wykeham Wanderers:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Wykeham Wanderers. In the 100th minute there was a penalty for SuntFrumoasa. Brynn Howard stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving James Ansell. 5-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SuntFrumoasa fans cheered their team off the field, for while Wykeham Wanderers had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
