Ollie Bennett scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rupert Hislop, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Doug Bryant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yellow Hornets A.F.C.'s Alexander Thomson got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 29 minutes, Doug Bryant made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Yellow Hornets A.F.C.'s Rupert Hislop tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Yellow Hornets A.F.C.'s Alexander Thomson got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ollie Bennett came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Walford FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ollie Bennett couldn't finish the play. Rupert Hislop showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doug Bryant in the 40th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ollie Bennett in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rupert Hislop saved Yellow Hornets A.F.C. from getting behind. Donny Jones charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donny Jones the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Doug Bryant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Rupert Hislop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

After 52 minutes, Ollie Bennett made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Yellow Hornets A.F.C.'s Rupert Hislop tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 57th minute Doug Bryant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rupert Hislop saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexander Thomson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nicholas Malpeli hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Pete Deveraux showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Thomson, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Pete Deveraux didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexander Thomson went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Alexander Thomson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Pete Deveraux tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Doug Bryant fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Donny Jones was shown his second yellow card after 83 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 84th minute, Donny Jones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ollie Bennett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Rupert Hislop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yellow Hornets A.F.C.'s Rupert Hislop proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Yellow Hornets A.F.C. from getting a goal against them. Ollie Bennett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Rupert Hislop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Doug Bryant took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Rupert Hislop to make any attempt to save it. The Yellow Hornets A.F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Walford FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
