Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Plaza Mayor's Aaron Norton started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lawrence Pearson made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Harry Hill sent off a good shot on target. Lawrence Pearson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tristan Gardner in the 11th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Walford FC's Lawrence Pearson threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tristan Gardner, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Doug Bryant's late challenge caught a Plaza Mayor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Doug Bryant helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes Walford FC got a freekick which was hit by Mike Humphreys. With a little luck, Plaza Mayor's Lawrence Pearson got control of the ball when Doug Bryant tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doug Bryant got free with Lawrence Pearson in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Plaza Mayor's Lawrence Pearson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Hill in the 30th minute of play. Lawrence Pearson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doug Bryant in the 31st minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 33 minutes into the game, when Ash Tandy put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of Plaza Mayor:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Walford FC:s goal. The referee gave Walford FC a penalty, 35 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lee Walters, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Plaza Mayor's Lawrence Pearson. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Harry Hill got free with Lawrence Pearson in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tristan Gardner in the 43rd minute of play forced Plaza Mayor's goalkeeper Lawrence Pearson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Plaza Mayor's Reg Rice got a free kick in the 44th minute. Lawrence Pearson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mike Humphreys in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tristan Gardner made a kick off. When Tristan Gardner came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Walford FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tristan Gardner couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute Harry Hill suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Aaron Norton's late challenge caught a Walford FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Norton helped the player get up and apologised. Aaron Norton kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After having played for 63 minutes, Nicholas Malpeli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Walford FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicholas Malpeli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lawrence Pearson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doug Bryant in the 66th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Doug Bryant cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Lawrence Pearson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Nicky Harrison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lawrence Pearson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doug Bryant in the 79th minute of the match. When Walford FC's Mike Humphreys in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Plaza Mayor's goalie prevented a goal. Tristan Gardner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lawrence Pearson having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Walford FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
