Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kyle Ackroyd got the match started through his kick off. Joey Coogan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 4th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Joey Coogan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Dion Layfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 7 played minutes Ickenham United got a freekick which was hit by John Haley. Ickenham United's Dion Layfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joey Coogan in the 10th minute of play. Rio Shaw made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Ackroyd in the 11th minute of play. Dion Layfield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joey Coogan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind CumDrops's goalkeeper Rio Shaw, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 18 minutes into the game, Donny Pack cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rio Shaw was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Ickenham United's Dion Layfield got control of the ball when Lee Blackwater tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Donny Pack had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joey Coogan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Dion Layfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ickenham United's goalkeeper Dion Layfield, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Ickenham United's goal looked a bit too open when Joey Coogan came free, but Dion Layfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joey Coogan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Dion Layfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dion Layfield was a little too slow when Joey Coogan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joey Coogan was the one to do the kick off. Joey Coogan struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Dion Layfield didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CumDrops. 58 minutes into the match, Lee Blackwater notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ickenham United's Dion Layfield. Dion Layfield was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lee Blackwater blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dion Layfield having to make a save. Dion Layfield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joey Coogan in the 64th minute of play. When CumDrops's Joey Coogan in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ickenham United's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Ackroyd in the 72nd minute of play forced CumDrops's goalkeeper Rio Shaw to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ickenham United's John Haley got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After 74 played minutes, CumDrops's Gaz Hargrave shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dion Layfield came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CumDrops reached it. Joey Coogan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Dion Layfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ickenham United defense, Joey Coogan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dion Layfield. The Ickenham United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dion Layfield should have stopped the shot. When CumDrops's Joey Coogan in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ickenham United's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lee Blackwater in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dion Layfield prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lee Blackwater sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
