Conal Whitworth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Paddy Doughty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Romford's goalkeeper Paddy Doughty, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 15th match minute, Paignton City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Hylton to maneuver through the defense. If Brad Hibbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conal Whitworth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paddy Doughty having to interfere. Sol Stevens who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Paddy Doughty when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Paignton City's Conal Whitworth got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zachariasz Brodzki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Darryl Fisher's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute Oscar Grainger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariasz Brodzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Oscar Grainger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Romford's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paignton City the free kick. Oscar Grainger kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brad Hibbert in the 44th minute of play forced Paignton City's goalkeeper Zachariasz Brodzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Romford fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Sol Stevens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paignton City's Zachariasz Brodzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darryl Fisher in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute Darryl Fisher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariasz Brodzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 played minutes Romford got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Grainger. Paddy Doughty didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Paignton City's Sol Stevens shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. 77 minutes into the match, Romford's goal looked a bit too open when Conal Whitworth came free, but Paddy Doughty reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
