Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alistair Hook in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dave Widdrington prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 25 minutes, Jermaine Slater mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Llangyfelach AFC and the Entrerrios Fluenca players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Entrerrios Fluenca booed when Llangyfelach AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jermaine Slater didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Perry Fish to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robbie Elliott got free with Dave Widdrington in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Entrerrios Fluenca getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Stewart Wray hit a great ball. If Robbie Elliott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alistair Hook struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Dave Widdrington didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Llangyfelach AFC. Robbie Elliott blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dave Widdrington having to make a save. When Tod Laverick fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Entrerrios Fluenca's protests and gave Tod Laverick a yellow card for diving instead. Thom Rundell's late challenge caught a Entrerrios Fluenca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thom Rundell helped the player get up and apologised. Thom Rundell kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Llangyfelach AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
