After having played for 5 minutes, Miles Meechan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LC Exiles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miles Meechan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to LC Exiles getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Spike Kellaway hit a great ball. Howard Kenna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ben Charie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Howard Kenna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Seth Stonebridge had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ben Charie. LC Exiles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Seth Stonebridge was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 30th minute Miles Meechan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrew Carter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Hot-Spurs's goal looked a bit too open when Miles Meechan came free, but Andrew Carter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Spike Kellaway came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the LC Exiles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Spike Kellaway couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hot-Spurs's goalkeeper Andrew Carter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Miles Meechan managed to get in a good position for a shot. LC Exiles's supporters rose to their feet, but Miles Meechan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrew Carter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ben Charie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Howard Kenna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, LC Exiles's Miles Meechan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrew Carter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ben Charie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Howard Kenna, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Ben Charie had great luck who in the 84thth minute grab hold of the ball when Howard Kenna from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 85th minute Miles Meechan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrew Carter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Spike Kellaway received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Andrew Carter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ben Charie came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Hot-Spurs's Joe Keyworth. But to his dismay, Joe Keyworth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Hot-Spurs's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
