Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ullesthorpe's Tommy Palmer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alistair Dibb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ben Charie having to interfere. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind LC Exiles's goalkeeper Ben Charie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ben Charie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alistair Dibb in the 7th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes Ullesthorpe got a freekick which was hit by Damion Argent. Crispin Lane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miles Meechan, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Alistair Dibb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ben Charie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommy Palmer in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ben Charie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. LC Exiles's Miles Meechan got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Tommy Palmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Crispin Lane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miles Meechan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tommy Palmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Miles Meechan made the kick off in the second half. Alistair Dibb scored 0-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ben Charie, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Miles Meechan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Crispin Lane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 65 minutes, Tommy Palmer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ullesthorpe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommy Palmer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ben Charie was a little too slow when Tommy Palmer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-2. When Shane Weir came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the LC Exiles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shane Weir couldn't finish the play. Crispin Lane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miles Meechan in the 75th minute of the match. Ben Charie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tommy Palmer's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alistair Dibb in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ben Charie saved LC Exiles from getting behind. 87 minutes into the game, Alistair Dibb cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ben Charie was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ben Charie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Huey Davison in the 92nd minute of play. In the 96th minute, Alistair Dibb got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
