Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Studley were furious when Jay Lundy was red carded, 3 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Jay Lundy kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute, Alan Thorn sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Studley's Craig Horsell didn't even have to move. Craig Horsell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oscar Heath went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Laurence Buchanan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Studley's supporters rose to their feet, but Laurence Buchanan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Louie Sherwood breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute of the match, Ben Swallow tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Louie Sherwood saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Studley's Craig Horsell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthew Goodwick in the 16th minute of play. When Oscar Heath came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Executive Crew fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Heath couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute, Conal Bannister hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neil Best received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Louie Sherwood tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Oscar Heath had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matthew Goodwick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Alan Thorn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laurence Buchanan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Ben Swallow notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Executive Crew's Louie Sherwood. Louie Sherwood was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Executive Crew's Matthew Goodwick got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Studley's Ben Swallow got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 66 minutes, Oscar Heath managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Executive Crew's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Heath was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oscar Heath could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Craig Horsell made a huge save. In the 96th minute of the match, Oscar Heath got a very nice opportunity to score, but Craig Horsell was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The Executive Crew players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Studley from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
