The supporters of Frimley booed when Studley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ben Swallow didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Austin Marenghi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frimley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Studley the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Frimley:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Studley:s goal. In the 19th minute there was a penalty for Studley. Tim Berryman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Andrew Holloway. 0-2. After 25 minutes, Jo Hodges mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Frimley and the Studley players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jo Hodges hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Studley's Craig Horsell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Studley from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Frimley getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Jo Hodges hit a great ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrew Holloway prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rio Best to make the kick off. A collision led to Frimley getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Stuart Button hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, Chris Staple hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th match minute, Frimley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stuart Button to maneuver through the defense. Austin Marenghi hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Studley's zone, Richie Partridge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Craig Horsell came out of the goal and Richie Partridge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rio Best was extremely unlucky when he, in the 72nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Laurence Buchanan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Studley's supporters rose to their feet, but Laurence Buchanan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrew Holloway breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jo Hodges kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Tim Berryman was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With a little luck, Frimley's Andrew Holloway got control of the ball when Laurence Buchanan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 87th minute of the match, Rio Best tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Andrew Holloway saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Andrew Holloway made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laurence Buchanan in the 94th minute. Studley played a much better game than Frimley and deserved their victory. The Frimley players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
