Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Danny Thurman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simeon Storry's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Penge's Norman Wainwright got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Reg Armitage got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Harvey Barker struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Seth Stone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Penge. Reg Armitage recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Fletching United's Simeon Storry sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danny Thurman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Penge's zone, Reg Armitage stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danny Thurman came out of the goal and Reg Armitage tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Seth Stone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harvey Barker, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th match minute, Fletching United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frankie Buckley to maneuver through the defense. If Norman Wainwright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Harvey Barker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Norman Wainwright took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Seth Stone. Seth Stone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Harvey Barker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Seth Stone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 48 played minutes Fletching United got a freekick which was hit by Damian Wills. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Seth Stone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harvey Barker, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. A collision led to Penge getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Zane Patton hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Dave Gavan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Penge's Danny Thurman didn't even have to move. If Norman Wainwright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norman Wainwright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harvey Barker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Seth Stone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Seth Stone didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Norman Wainwright went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Harvey Barker might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Seth Stone. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Harvey Barker ran back to his position shaking his head. Harvey Barker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Seth Stone having to make a save.
